Location...
Downtown Winter Garden is located on West Plant Street only 10 minutes from Orlando. From Orlando take the East-West Expressway west, merge on Florida Turnpike, take 429 exit north, take first exit west (left) onto Plant Street. Stay on Plant street for a couple of miles, you can't miss it! You will run into brick roads and feel as if you have stepped into another century! Come and enjoy!

There are many restaurants in Downtown Winter Garden. The Winter Garden Pizza Company is a great place to have a authentic New York style pizza or a delicious pasta dish!Stromboli's is another Italian style restaurant that offers pizzas and BBQ.Downtown Browns is an old-fashioned sand which shop that also offers many flavors of ice cream. One of my favorite places is the Deli located on North Boyd Street. This is an authentic Eastern European style Deli. These sandwiches are delicious along with their salads and specials. The owner also makes homemade cheesecakes and cookies! Yum!Another one of my favorites is the Moon cricket Grille. This place is a pub style restaurant. They have the best burgers in town or maybe in Florida! They offer high-end nightly specials and entertainment. One of the best bands is the Highway 50 Band. They usually play Fridays or Saturdays. Moon cricket also offers 99 beers from domestic to from around the world! Great place to hang out with friends or enjoy some entertainment.

Take a Step Back in Time
Downtown Winter Garden is a turn of the century community with so much to offer. It was re-stored back before the millennium with brick roads and old-fashioned lamp posts. It boasts a bike/walk/blade trail that flows through the center street of town. The water tower that is visible behind the downtown area is painted with Winter Garden's new landmark, the clock tower. The clock tower is situated as you enter the heart of downtown and covers the West Orange Trail as it flows through the center of town. There is also a fountain with seating in the center of town. The fountain displays old citrus labels true to the history of West Orange County. This is a great community to live in or visit for the day or the weekend. Also, a few short blocks north is Lake Apopka. There is a great park on the water and a dock for wildlife sitings.
